Here's wishing Selamat Berpuasa to Muslims all over. Kinda looking
forward to spending fasting month here in Kuala Lumpur this time
around since last year's Ramadhan
was pretty much spent in Singapore throughout.

and Ramadhan Fever.

My heartiest congratulations to frequent commenter on this website, none other than Lyna herself on her getting married to long time sweetheart Hafiz today! Attending their wedding has gotta be one of a kind experience, for me at least, as I have never met the bride and groom in person before! It was also my first time meeting people like Kaz, Zack, Aiza, Shuq, among others (Yes, you are known not by your names but your URLs! :P). There's always a first time for anything they say. Anyways, have a good one the both of you! ;)
A very Happy Diwali to all those celebrating, by the way!

I'm alright already. Kinda recovered and back at work already today.
Loadsa stuff to catch up. Many thanks to those who sent in their well
wishes.
My folks would also like to extend their gratefulness to Putat, Bart and
Penang for helping them out with the paint job over the weekend. The
paint fumes also did help somewhat dull the effects of dengue I was
experiencing. :P Many thanks, dudes!

I've been experiencing high fever and aching limbs and joints for
the past three days. I just passed that off as flu and went on with my
daily work as usual. But I woke up this morning and noticed there were
rashes on my arms which can mean only one thing. That's right folks,
pending the results of the blood test to confirm it, the doctor says it's
highly likely to be dengue fever.
If it really IS dengue, this will be the third time I'm getting it. I don't
know if I should consider myself lucky to be one of those people to
experience 3 out of 4 dengue virus strains in this world or that my
neighborhood has become one nice ecosystem for the aedes mosquito
to breed the different viral strains. I'm hoping this one to blow over
real quick. I mean heck, this is the third time I'm getting it and I should
be getting better in handling this thing.

Taken off Dale Carnegie's book
of the above title:
- The only way to get the best of an argument is to avoid it.
- Show respect for the other persons opinion. Never say, Youre wrong.
- If you are wrong, admit it quickly and emphatically.
- Begin in a friendly way.
- Get the other person saying, Yes, yes immediately.
- Let the other person do a great deal of the talking.
- Let the other person feel that the idea is his or hers.
- Try honestly to see things from the other persons point of view.
- Be sympathetic with the other persons ideas and desires.
- Appeal to the nobler motives.
- Dramatize your ideas.
- Throw down a challenge.
If only it works like that over here.

Congratulations to the Ferrari team and Michael Schumacher on winning
this year's Formula 1 championship and a record sixth championship
title respectively. Despite the obstacles and challenges, they really did
rise to the occassion to walk away as the deserving winners. It's been
an interesting 2003 season indeed. Here's looking towards 2004.

My anthem at the moment...
Sememangnya ku lelaki, Penuh kelemahan diri
Tak boleh nak mengatasi, Keinginan semulajadi
Lapar ku ke kedai kopi, Mencari horlicks dan roti
Terlihat si gadis sunti, Hirup teh bak bidadari
Aku pergi sekolah tinggi, Ada diploma dan degree
Tapi nampak gadis lawa, Cair otak bak... bak... bak... mentega
Ku hilang daya berfikir, Pertuturan ku tercicir
Gatal-gatal dah melanda, Aku mesti bertemunya
Have a gander at the complete lyrics of the song. Album review of Fuuyo coming soon.

Yes, I know. This site hasn't had any updates for the last week and a
half already or so. I haven't been paying much attention to stuff other
than work to warrant any form of write-ups or comments lately. I'll get
back to doing this stuff once I get a good bulk of my current
commitments out of the way.
